We are a legal staffing company seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our client, a reputable employment law firm based in California. This role offers the opportunity to support a team that advocates for clients in employment-related legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients, gathering essential case details and conducting thorough intake assessments.
  • Screen inquiries to assess the case's compatibility with firm services, ensuring alignment with client eligibility criteria.
  • Accurately input, maintain, and organize client data, documentation, and case details in the firm's case management system.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and guiding clients through the initial phases of the legal process.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure a smooth transition from intake to active case management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Intake Specialist in a legal or similar environment, with strong skills in client communication and initial case assessment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data entry and document handling.
  • Familiarity with Clio case management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an employment law setting.
  • Proficiency with Clio or similar legal case management software.
