LOCATION: Apply Digital is hybrid/remote friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in the Metro Vancouver Area of Canada, working in hours that align to PT (Pacific Timezone).
THE ROLE:
Apply Digital is looking for a Senior Project Manager that can build strong, trusted relationships with our clients. They have a passion for all things digital - strategy, products, platforms and marketing - and are not afraid to speak with various client stakeholders. As a Senior Project Manager, you are a champion for Project Management and Agile best-practices but are flexible, and can adjust your processes to fit your project team and clients’ needs. You are comfortable wearing multiple hats and acting as a Scrum Master. You can manage budgets, timelines and client expectations with ease. You are a consultant , a problem solver, and a “big picture” thinker while digging into the details. The ideal candidate will be solution-driven and able to handle multiple fast-paced projects while managing multiple teams and communicating with leadership. Above all , you are accountable to your team, to yourself, and to the delivery of excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Define and translate client requirements into actionable roadmaps and manage project execution.Conduct workshops and meetings for requirements gathering, design reviews, prototyping, testing, and stakeholder feedback.Apply agile or hybrid methodologies to ensure efficient workflows across teams.Collaborate with Product Consultants, Client Services, and PMO to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.Identify and address risks, balancing business and technical needs, and escalate issues when necessary.Serve as the primary contact for clients and team members, providing updates on project progress and changes in scope.Maintain regular client engagement to ensure expected value delivery.Foster a collaborative team environment and monitor team morale.REQUIREMENTS:6+ years of experience as a Digital/Web Project Manager or similar role managing large teams in software development, web technologies, or eCommerce.Ability to manage multiple client requests in a fast-paced eCommerce environment, with strong organizational skills and the capability to adjust priorities effectively.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and project management methodologies such as agile, hybrid-agile, scrum, and kanban.Familiarity with technical concepts and tools including AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, and platform integrations.Experience with headless implementations of eCommerce platforms (CommerceTools, BigCommerce), CMS (Contentful, Contentstack), Loyalty (Talon.one, EagleEye), Identity (Stytch, Okta), and Personalization (Ninetailed, Segment).Proficiency with project management software and collaboration platforms.Experience with Scrum teams and/or Scrum Master certification.Technical background in Computer Science is a plus.LIFE AT APPLY:Flexibility - work where you work bestCompetitive benefits planGenerous paid time off - take the time you need to be balanced and energizedA growing company means many opportunities for advancement - we like to promote from within!Regular team and company events (karaoke, escape rooms, axe throwing and more!)Training budgets, Days of Learning, company-wide training, Apply Library and our Hackathon for Good mean you have many different ways to learn and stretch yourself
