Position Title:  Field Engineer

 

Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing loan applications from receipt of pre-approval documents until booking and ensuring compliance to regulatory and credit policies of the Bank.The position reports to his designated Section Head (Head Office, Metro Manila Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao) and responsible for the timely installation, setup, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement (where needed) of endpoint infrastructure (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, monitors), and other IT infrastructure outside the central data center (branch servers, LAN switches, bank-owned network equipment, closed-circuit TV, un-interruptible power supply, ATM and CAM). Also responsible for the timely assistance/support to clients (branch and business units’ users), system rollout and deployment of endpoint software installation will be required, e.g. anti-virus, endpoint/server programs and updates, etc.

 

Role Exposure:

  • Performs installation, setup, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement (where needed) of endpoint infrastructure (desktops, laptops, desktop printers, scanners, monitors,), and other IT infrastructure outside the central data center (branch servers, LAN switches, bank-owned network equipment, closed-circuit TV, un-interruptible power supply-portable UPS, ATM and CAM). ·
  • Performs timely assigned system implementations, rollout and deployment of endpoint software where physical onsite or remote installation is required, e.g. anti-virus, endpoint and server programs, etc.
  • Inspects and verifies the readiness of new Bank locations for installation of endpoint infrastructure.
  • Provides phone, service ticketing, chat, remote and/or onsite support and assistance in checking IT concern/issues of the branch and business units.
  • Reports common causes of IT equipment malfunction and failure and recommends appropriate preventive measures.
  • Performs testing and evaluation of new endpoint infrastructure, e.g. desktops, laptops and printers, monitors, scanners, etc. and reports on testing results.
  • Accurately updates ITG’s records in relation to his engineering tasks and workload, e.g. service tickets, IT asset records, etc. · Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree graduate any IT related course
  • With at least 1-year experience in installation, setup, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement (where needed) of endpoint infrastructure (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, monitors), and other IT infrastructure outside the central data center (branch servers, LAN switches, bank-owned network
    equipment, closed-circuit TV, un-interruptible power supply, ATM and CAM).
