Position Summary:
Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of patients across British Columbia? We are seeking BC licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP) to deliver virtual walk-in primary care services to patients in BC. This remote position involves conducting medical assessments, providing patient education, developing treatment plans, and facilitating connections to further levels of care when necessary. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven team with ambitious growth plans.
What you will be doing:
Perform telehealth consultations via our proprietary technology platform.
Assess patients virtually to diagnose conditions and establish next steps for treatment.
Counsel patients on diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and preventive measures.
Facilitate referrals to specialists, request imaging and tests, and prescribe medications as required.
Maintain detailed electronic medical records and coordinate with other care providers to promote continuity of care.
Identify patients in need of urgent care and direct to appropriate healthcare facilities.
You have:
- Registration and good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives.
- Experience with virtual care is considered an asset.
