Job description

What You’ll Do

As a UX/UI Designer at SAG Digital Innovation you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experience for our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance our digital products and services. Your creativity and expertise will be instrumental in making our products stand out in the market.

  • Develop creative concepts and UI solutions for new and existing products and services in alignment with our vision to become the champion in the automotive aftermarket

  • Ensuring an optimal user experience and usability - supported by key figures, analyses and the application of user-centred methods

  • Independently identify usability issues in existing products and devise solutions to enhance user experiences

  • Create and validate wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to optimize the customer journey and accessibility of our digital products

  • Independently develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, design systems, and screen designs for digital applications and websites

  • Collaborate with our product and marketing teams within the agile framework to rapidly test and iterate on designs and concepts

  • Visually communicate ideas and solutions effectively to stakeholders

What you bring


  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer, product designer, or a similar role

  • A degree in interaction design, media design or a comparable qualification

  • A strong design portfolio and experience in demanding web projects, preferably also in the field of e-commerce

  • Strong sense of design and usability across different devices with creativity and a keen eye for current trends in the app and web environment

  • Proficiency in using common design programs and tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch

  • Methodical competence in customer-centred design processes (e.g. user research, design thinking, implementation of workshops and user tests, A/B tests, etc.)

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility

  • Native proficiency in German and fluent in English

  • Nice to have: Practical experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and familiarity with agile software development processes
