Supervising Social Worker – Calderdale – Fostering Team – £35 per hour

Calderdale are recruiting a full-time Supervising Social Worker, to supervise and support Calderdale Fostering Families within the Fostering Service.

As a Senior Practitioner within the Fostering Team, you will:

• Complete Form C assessments for connected carers
• Provide effective supervision to mainstream foster carers, ensuring they have the support they need to care for the children who live with them
• Ensure the completion of comprehensive and high-quality foster carer reviews

As a Senior Practitioner within the Fostering Team, you are required to:

• Hold a Social Work England registration.
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK license.
• Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
