We have a great opportunity for a Senior Cloud Architect, AWS who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions within our organization. This role involves working closely with both technical and business teams to assess their use cases, understand the desired outcomes, and propose appropriate architectural solutions while considering cost, stability, performance, security, scalability, and supportability. This role will also require close engineering engagement to assist Wealth Enhancement's engineering teams in implementing and supporting the cloud solutions and platforms.
The salary target for this role is $145,000 - $165,000 depending on experience. This role is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus.

Primary Job Functions
Cloud Architect (AWS)
Direct and lead Wealth Enhancement's public cloud strategy, cloud infrastructure, migrations, and cloud-first initiatives
Design, develop, and assist the implementation of Wealth Enhancement's cloud strategies and architectures
Lead and manage cloud infrastructure and automation initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional and interdepartmental teams to design, build, and deploy cloud-based solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve processes
Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to cloud infrastructure and provide timely resolutions
Conduct regular performance and security assessments of cloud systems and make necessary improvements
Create and maintain documentation for all cloud-related processes and procedures
Train and mentor team members on cloud technologies and best practices
Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide recommendations for cloud solutions
Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of cloud projects
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to optimize cloud services and costs
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in cloud operations
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in all cloud-related activities
Continuously evaluate and improve cloud processes to increase efficiency and performance
Cloud Engineer
Assist with project, daily activities, support and maintenance of Wealth Enhancement's cloud environments, platforms, and systems
Collaborate with cloud engineering staff and development teams in implementing and supporting cloud initiatives and projects
Infrastructure Architect
Education/ Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services
Proven experience in leading complex public cloud architectures and designs from concept through implementation and support.
Proven expertise designing, implementing, and securing full scale AWS IaaS environments and virtual datacenters (including infrastructure, networking, storage services)
Proven experience designing, implementing, securing, and supporting AWS data platforms and integration services (including RedShift, Data Zone, Lake Formation, Athena, Glue, Macie, etc.)
Experience evaluating and supporting cybersecurity design principles.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Self-motivated with a passion for problem-solving.
Strong proficiency in creating and improving system and product requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including problem resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
MS/PhD in Computer or Engineering field.
10+ years of experience in a formal Cloud Architecture and Cloud Engineering roles.
Experience in the Financial Services or Financial Technologies industry, focusing on outcome driven strategies, user needs, use case models, system requirements, and infrastructure and platform design.
Proven project leadership experience, leading teams on high-visibility and high-priority organizational initiatives.
Experience engaging, reporting, and interacting with senior and executive leadership
