We are looking for an experienced Marine Ticketing Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote position ideal for candidates with a solid background in marine crew travel logistics. If you have a knack for sourcing the best travel deals and managing global crew travel arrangements, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Requesting quotations from various Marine travel agencies worldwide and successfully negotiating the best prices.
Arranging international visas and other documentation for crew travel such as crew change formalities, CDC document verification, OK TO BOARD paperwork, etc.
Building relationships with new marine travel agents and negotiating favorable terms.
Creating & implementing resourceful new ticketing strategies to reduce overall travel expenses and ensure more efficient travel booking procedures.
Arranging accommodation & transportation for crew members at arrival and departure ports.
Coordinating with global port agents on crew travel requirements.
Assist with corporate travel of in-house staff as needed.
Requirements
Degree qualified with at least 5 years’ experience at a reputed travel agency as a ticketing agent within the Marine sector OR as an in-house agent at a shipping company managing crew travel.
IATA certified.
Strong command over digital ticketing software & online travel programs.
Proficient working knowledge of Amadeus software is a MUST.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with thorough attention to details.
Excellent command over verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Flexibility with working hours if necessary to manage tight crew ticketing schedules
The scheduled date of joining is immediate for this position.
