Job description

A Manual Tester provides expertise in the planning, construction, and execution of release tests. They are responsible for applying business and functional knowledge to meet the team’s overall test objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Case Creation

Test Strategy Formulation:
Breakdown business and technical requirements into test case scenarios.
Define test data requirements.
Manage test case creation.
Devise contingency plans and other preparation activities.
Plan and create test cases.

⁠Test Execution and Analysis:

Carry out procedures and tests to ensure that information systems and services meet standards and end-user expectations.
Specialize in at least one area (e.g., Functional, Performance, Security).
Test Case Execution
Bug or Defect Management
Review requirements and test cases.
Raise any test issues.

Requirements

Technical Skills Required:

Testing methodologies
Usage knowledge of JIRA
Database concepts and SQL queries
LINUX command
Any Test Management & Defect Tracking Tools.
Basic understanding of web technologies (such as HTML, JAVA)

Minimum Education Qualification:

A relevant degree such as Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Technical, Business, Software Engineering, Science, or Mathematics is preferred.
