As a Process Engineer, you will be involved in Product development phase to support Business developers team by providing technical solutions, calculation, and managing technical development from the concept phase until the detailed design of the HRS according to the roadmap ambition.
You will be in charge of the Product technical studies and design development in liaison with the different internal and external stakeholders. You will evolve in several technical domain as safety, compressor, process and local regulation in close coordination with the Product Manager and the Design Authorities and Business Developers. Your tasks would be to support business developers, participate in new products design, to find local and oversea suppliers, to prepare detail technical notes and specification and P&ID for industrialization with the support of the teams in several countries (Korea, USA, France, Japan, China).
You would also participate in the project execution phase and should be able to create, modify and review the technical documentation (P&ID, RFQ, PFD, calculation note, performance calculation note and other) being a part of the project execution team when assigned.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Product development phase:
1) Participate to the product developments:
- Communicate with the Group technical organization (in Korea , Japan and the France technical headquarter)
- Develop gas hydrogen refueling stations being a part of the product team
- Do process calculation such as pressure drop, piping sizing, thermal and mass balance calculation with AL tools
- Create and update the Engineering Drawings such as PFDs, Layout, PIDs, and document list
- Follow-up of the implementation of the Design Reviews conclusions / actions
2) Drive a strong and effective capitalization:
- Contact global team for continuous improvement of products, and use global support process tools
- Participate in the technology roadmaps and the technical orientations to ensure competitiveness of our products
- Participate to efficient capitalization (from operation and commissioning, incident, RCA)
3) Lead the development of innovative solutions:
- Communication with local and international suppliers for the development of technical solutions and for obtaining budgetary quotations
- Write and update components datasheet and technical specification for main equipments
- Technical clarification with Vendors/Subcontractors and technical bid evaluation
- Follow-up of Vendor's design documentation submission and internal reviews - Propose and participate in the filing of patents.
4) Support Business Developers to build competitive proposals and actively participate in the client's meetings when requested
5) Support Project Execution team
- Perform Technical clarification meetings with industry regulation authorities (e.g KGS) to ensure necessary permits are obtained
- Participate in the development of pre-commissioning / commissioning procedures, operations manual
- Support the project execution Team with regards to detailed design development, Vendor's documentation and manufacturing follow-up
- Depending on the business needs, domestic and overseas trips will be required
Are you a MATCH?
Master or bachelor in engineering
Minimum 3 years experience in oil&gas / chemical / industrial gases engineering industries
Fluent in Korea and business level in English
