In this position, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Project Engineering, working as part of the Operational Excellence—Group Capital Engineering team to ensure consistency in the development and execution of project engineering across the national Bega network.
Responsibilities
Support and lead the development of capital project submissions and technical solutions necessary for achieving successful business outcomes.
Coordinate and guide project teams to effectively deliver capital projects, ensuring excellence in execution regarding scope, budget, and timeline.
Champion the Commissioning, Qualification, and Verification (CQV) approach for the delivery and handover of projects at Bega.
Contribute to the ongoing development of Bega’s engineering standards.
Manage a portfolio of contracts, which includes negotiating service-level agreements and coordinating activities with contractors.
About you
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a background in FMCG
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a solid foundation in project management is essential
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required
The ability to build relationships and influence others across the broader business is crucial
Strong organizational and prioritization skills will enable you to meet project deadlines effectively
