Responsibilities:

The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing department in a variety of creative projects, from brainstorming to implementation. This role primarily focuses on content creation for social media, videography, and photography, with additional opportunities in graphic design, copywriting, event planning, advertising, and content optimization.

 

Internship to start January 2025.

 

 

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student with a degree majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Photography or a related creative field, from an accredited college or university
  • 1+ years of part-time work experience required. 2 years preferred
  • Familiarity with video and photography editing software required. Experience in creating social media content and basic photography/videography preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Junior or Senior status in a creative major preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of 25 pounds without assistance (or with reasonable accommodation)
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and typing English
  • Ability to use a telephone and perform repetitive computer tasks

Work Environment:

  • This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
  • Occasional travel around Tampa Bay to Grow stores, community events and/or local businesses. Must live local to Tampa Bay
  • Schedule requires 10-15 hours per week during business hours, with occasional weekend/non-business hours events
  • Regular collaboration via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx
  • Normal hours are 8am -5pm, Monday – Friday, with flexibility around school schedule. Schedule will not exceed 29hrs/week.
