Estimator

FloorMax USA, a leading full-service National Commercial flooring company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building accurate estimates for our partnerships with General Contractors and National Commercial customers, as well as supporting warranty and repair projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical abilities in digital estimating, with experience in software like MeasureSquare preferred but not required.

• Develop precise measurements and estimates for commercial flooring projects, identifying any discrepancies in project plans.
• Calculate labor, material, and overhead costs, ensuring competitive bids and cost-effective project execution.
• Clearly communicate project scope and work details to clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain exceptional customer service, fostering strong relationships with clients to support repeat business.
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure estimates align with practical execution on-site.
• Proactively identify and address potential project challenges, improving the accuracy and efficiency of estimates.
• Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and best practices in flooring estimation.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by adapting to changing project requirements and workflows.

• Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and estimation software.
