About the Role: Quality Engineer II 

As a Quality Engineer II, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing detailed tests to ensure the high quality of Frontline’s applications. This includes manually executing functional, integration, and acceptance tests with the assistance of existing automation. You’ll work closely with business analysts and developers with the opportunity to grow technically in software testing. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to ensure thorough test coverage, including test documentation, execution, and defect tracking. 

• Perform manual functional testing on the Guidewire Insurance Suite, with a focus on PolicyCenter. 

• Document and execute configuration, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for application releases. 

• Develop and execute manual end-to-end test cases, utilizing existing automation. 

• Support testing activities throughout iterative development and release cycles. 

• Collaborate with analysts and developers to build comprehensive test suites that align with business needs. 

• Create and execute user acceptance test cases to confirm alignment with end-user requirements. 

• Adapt to a fast-paced, agile environment and help meet project deadlines effectively. 

Qualifications 

• 5+ years in software testing with experience in testing web and API platforms. 

• Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices. 

• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), STLC, and agile practices. 

• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

• Self-starter able to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team. 

• Experience in testing custom Guidewire v10 PolicyCenter implementations.
