Our work depends on a Project Manager joining our team to support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) activities in Rockville, Maryland.

HOW A PROJECT/TASK MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in Statement of Work (SOW)

  • Reviewing status reports from several workstreams

  • Interviewing candidates for management and technical roles

  • Starting up workstreams upon award and handing off to new staff

  • Supervising teams of varying sizes

  • Prepare schedules, deliverables, and reports as scheduled

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all requirements

  • Lead weekly standup and ad-hoc meetings with internal/external stakeholders

  • Respond to inquiries/requests from all stakeholders and customers within agreed upon Service Levels potentially within 24x7x365 environment

  • Works and coordinates with project team to resolve challenges

Required Skills:

BS/BA Degree and 5 years of relative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years of project management experience with proven past success in similar role / working knowledge

Demonstrated experience managing and ensuring the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in assigned program(s)

Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, manage, supervise, train, schedule, coordinate, and evaluate staff as assigned

● Ability to obtain HHS Public Trust clearance

Desired Skills:

● Previous HHS experience with EPLC and ATO knowledge

● PMP Certification

● Excellent verbal/written communication skills and problem solving


 

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
