Position Purpose: The Regional Nurse Manager for Men's Health will be accountable for facilitating a collegial relationship between nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers and for promoting service delivery which results in patient and family satisfaction. The ideal candidate will display a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients.
What you will do:
- Obtain and allocate available resources to assure efficient, effective, and safe patient care, based on current standards of practice.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and retention of RN’s, LPN’s, and MA’s.
- Provide feedback and direction to patient care staff to address deficiencies in documentation and use of the nursing process.
- Contribute to the development of nursing goals; procedures and standards of care; and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Collaborate with other members of nursing leadership to create an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. M.S in Nursing or related field preferred
- Licensure: Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut
- Experience: Five (5) years of progressive nursing experience in an Ambulatory setting or medical group environment, with demonstrated nursing leadership positions
- Certification: BLS certification required
