Our Global Business Services (GBS) Process-to-Pay Cash Management department Cash Management Department is currently looking for skilled Cash Management Junior Accountant / Accountant. Our team consists of 15 members and is located in Gdansk, Poland.

 

Responsibilities: 

Bank payment processing, including: 

  • Generating payments list based on approved invoices and due dates 

  • Entering them into the banking system, coordination of approvals 

  • Posting bank payments to AP ledgers 

Bank statements accounting according to Hempel rules, including calculation and posting of: 

  • Payments to suppliers / other liabilities 

  • Eurocard statement

  • Currency bank revaluations 

  • Other transactions 

Maintaining proper documentation for the above 

Timely and accurate bank reconciliations, including a proactive approach to resolving unidentified payments 

 

 Qualifications and competences:

  • Min 1 year of experience in accounting 

  • University degree preferable in Finance or Accounting

  • Good level of English (written and spoken)

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles

  • Organizational skills and accuracy

  • Friendly personality
