What You Will Do

The Manager of Business Intelligence will lead the effort to develop and manage BI capabilities across the Chomps organization with a focus on effective data management, optimization and cohesive reporting. In this role you will leverage multiple data management and visualization tools to harness and transform large amounts of data into actionable insights.  

Responsibilities

  • Owns Chomps’ Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platforms, managing all aspects of data infrastructure and BI development
  • Lead work stream to create/develop
    • Data pipelines (including retrieving data via API, ODBC, etc.)
    • Complex data transformations
  • Manage BI capability development processes 
    • Field requests from across the organization
    • Scope and prioritize projects
    • Obtain leadership alignment on project prioritization
  • Develop tools and conduct analysis to support Chomps' revenue growth strategy 
  • Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Business Analytics department
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed or directed 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree and/or 6+ years experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence or related field
  • Strong analytical & communication skills
  • Experience using data programming languages: i.e. SQL, Python, R
  • Database administration: SQL server, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, etc.
  • Must be proficient in developing reporting in Power BI (or equivalent data visualization tool)
  • CPG experience 
  • Experience with syndicated data/TPM systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of Syndicated Data (SPINS, IRI, and/or Nielsen)
  • Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
  • Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
  • This position requires critical and strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and strong customer/channel knowledge

Reports to: Director, RGM and Business Intelligence

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time, exempt

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 + 20% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
