Job Overview:
The Account Manager for North America reports to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for building and maintaining commercial relationships with targeted customers while working with the team to create visibility at all appropriate levels. 


What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to secure mid- and long-term revenue by directly engaging with customers to establish MSX as the preferred services supplier.
  • Advance targeted accounts at all appropriate levels and establish relationships with key decision makers.
  • Build long term relationships with clients to bid on and win large-scale projects.
  • Support annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasting, pipeline, and RFP activities.
  • Represent MSX at appropriate conferences as requested.
  • Provide customer-level knowledge to Local and Regional Delivery Leaders and Global Leaders.
  • Lead business development, market evaluation, sales forecasting and monitoring of customers and leads within the North American market.
  • Work closely with technical resources to develop custom presentations designed to demonstrate the business value of MSX solutions.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and customer relationships to understand customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with key accounts in North America
  • Manage P & L, negotiate price changes, manage customer volume commitments, and understand their impact on the Business Plan.
  • Manage RFQ’s for on-time and accurate quote responses.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and manage timeliness of payments and cash collection.
  • Collaboratively develop and maintain pricing models to be used by entire organization.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess or have the following qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field is required
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred
  • A minimum of (8) years automotive OEM sales experience
  • Knowledge of automotive sales environment required
  • Proven teamwork skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
