Title: Delegated Credentialing Specialist

Location: Remote; Treehouse

Role Description

The Delegated Credentialing Specialist will work closely with our licensed providers to onboard and maintain their credentials in all OSH markets. The role may also include supporting the primary source verification processes with external agencies and insurance payers. On behalf of our physicians, you will provide formal, detailed documentation of their professional histories to these groups, and thoroughly track the process to ensure follow-through from start to finish. Experience should include responsibility for medical and professional credentialing processes, policies and procedures and delegated credentialing requirements. Other responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a database of highly sensitive physician information in both internal and third party systems such as CAQH, NPPES, PECOS and Availity. 

  • Ensuring that the credentialing software has current information for all assigned providers including: demographic data, licensure, effective dates, audit dates, submissions dates, and other data as required

  • Ensuring physicians maintain necessary credentials, such as licensure and board certifications

  • Assisting in the preparation of our providers for review at the credentialing committee

  • Monitoring upcoming re-credentialing and renewal dates and working with providers to advise them of the required steps to maintain their credentials

  • Other duties as assigned
