About the Role

 

As a Senior Manager, Business Governance & Controls in our Institutional Business Governance & Controls team, you’ll play a key role with respect to embedding and optimising the execution of ANZ’s Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Management Framework across the Global Institutional business.

 

This role will support the Global Institutional BG&C Leadership team to target the key embedding activities identified post the initial I.AM Amplified Program delivery of Risk Theme targeted releases. This role will support several key embedding activities, including, but not limited to, optimal control instance creation, monitoring design and appropriate coverage of key control objectives set by Risk Theme Officers

What will your day look like?

 

As a Senior Manager, Business Governance & Controls you will be accountable for the following in the context of the Institutional NFR Embedding program:

 

  • Assist the Central BG&C Lead’s execution of the agreed approach to embedding and prioritisation of NFR Risk Theme targeted releases. 

  • Develop and use centrally produced data analytics to drive a consistent approach to the embedding activity Globally.  

  • Ensure that BG&C Head, Risk Owner and other key stakeholder remain informed of embedding progress and milestones through the presence of Group standard RMF materials.  

  • Ensure prompt escalation of deliveries at risk at all stages of the program to the Central BG&C Team and respective USA Country Head of BG&C.

  • Manage effective communication, setting up of meetings and running of non financial risk workshops effectively.

  • Ensure that data is translated into the NFR Hub as well as ensuring that data quality and accuracy is adhered to Ensure that backlog data work is managed effectively and completed within timelines.

  • Help USA Stakeholders understand the use of NFR Hub, Reporting is accurate and solve data discrepancies
     

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Strong understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management experience within Institutional context

  • Proven ability to work independently with  stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills that recognise cultural differences across ANZ’s network.

  • Ability to work strategically, and both autonomously and collaboratively

  • Ability to deliver under pressure

  • Tertiary qualified, ideally with Professional and, or Post Graduate qualifications with strong technically relevant skills and understanding of technology, information security and data risk management.

Compensation and Benefits


The base salary range for this position is U$170,000 - U$190,000

 

This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role.  The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
