Position Purpose/Overview

Perform field training and sales support functions for DDS Lab clientele in an assigned regional territory by providing effective instruction regarding the companys products, specifically Dental Implant restorations, intraoral digital technology and/or related services in support of vendor agreements. Provide introduction of and communication on DDSs production information services and features that will enhance the clients organization. Secure clinical support at the office level. Support education offerings through technical hands-on assistance/training, and co-hosting educational programs as required. Forecast future education requirements. Prepare reports as required and record all activity in SalesForce.com. Contact potential customers and provide DDS sales information when not training. Position requires 80% travel (including some weekends).

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Train staff members of customer and perspective customer offices on how to use intraoral scanning technology for dental restorations. Guide customers to use DDS Lab as their dental lab for digital products as well as the remainder of their lab business.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Directors and Field Sales Managers to identify new DSO opportunities, grow existing DSO accounts, and deliver proper rules of engagement for each office.
  • Follow-up (by phone, email, or in person) on education needs submitted to clients.
  • Establish professional client / DDS Lab relationships with appropriate client personnel (dental assistants, office managers, dentists, and key contact/point persons.)
  • Submit weekly activity / call report concerning client related activities for DDS Lab relationships to the Regional Sales Director.
  • Perform all assigned duties in the assigned territory, including but not limited to meeting or exceeding all sales goals and initiatives.
  • Conduct product training sessions at client locations (i.e., Lunch-and-Learns, evening programs, Regional meetings DSO annual meetings etc.) Provide a territory training forecast monthly. Record all training activity and client contact information in SalesForce.com.
  • Must utilize the appropriate PPE while in the dental offices adhering to the necessary protocols established for infection control and sterilization.
Qualifications

Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure, Certification)

  • Knowledge of Intra-Oral Digital Technology and Implants Must present a strong aptitude and comfort level to personally observe and advise on dental implant procedures and us of Intra-Oral Digital Technology.
  • Ability to effectively present information, communicate and respond to questions clearly and persuasively with clients, management and other key members of the company while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability read, analyze and interpret documents in English, such as professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondences. Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to multi-task, use personal judgment and utilize strong decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems software including, but not limited to Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Willing to travel
  • Must possess a valid drivers license Certified Dental Technician or Hygienist is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous dental experience in a lab or dental office is required. High level of technical and material knowledge of dental products
  • Must have a dependable car that can be used for company travel for which appropriate reimbursement is provided.
  • Outside sales experience in dental or medical device is helpful or 3-5 years in office clinical experience working as RDA or RDH
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
