Responsibilities

As a Learning Consultant you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the educational strategies and initiatives of the learning organization and operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Advising and Mentoring: Provide strategic academic advising and mentoring to the learning organization and operations team, helping them to develop effective educational strategies, set institutional goals, and navigate the complexities of educational management.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate learning stakeholders to design and implement curriculum enhancements that align with the institution’s goals and meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Workshops and Training: Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions for leaders and stakeholders on various academic and administrative skills, such as curriculum planning, instructional design, and assessment techniques.
  • Resource Management: Develop and maintain a repository of learning resources, including policy guides, online tools, and reference materials, to support the institution’s learning objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze institutional performance data to identify areas for improvement and provide targeted support to the learning organization and operations team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as learner services and career counseling, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational strategy.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Collect feedback from the learning organization and faculty to continuously improve advising services and educational programs.
  • Skilling and Development: Identify skill gaps within the organization and develop targeted training programs to enhance the capabilities of staff and faculty. Facilitate continuous professional development opportunities to ensure the team remains current with educational best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Extensive experience in academic advising, educational administration, or a related role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems.
