Production Quality Management Supervisor(
 
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Quality Leader to oversee and ensure the highest quality standards in our web development projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of web development processes, quality assurance (QA) best practices, and an ability to lead and mentor QA teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead the QA team in developing and executing comprehensive test strategies for web-based projects, ensuring all features are thoroughly tested across browsers and devices.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine QA processes, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Implement best practices to prevent bugs and reduce post-launch issues.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, and project management teams to understand project requirements, establish quality expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the development cycle.
  • Testing and Automation: Design and oversee the implementation of both manual and automated testing procedures, focusing on functional, performance, security, and usability testing for web applications.
  • Bug Management: Supervise the logging, tracking, and resolution of bugs. Ensure that critical issues are addressed promptly and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
  • Team Development: Mentor QA team members, encouraging professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Provide guidance on complex testing scenarios and troubleshooting.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential quality risks early in the development process and work with stakeholders to mitigate them.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on key quality metrics, such as defect rates, test coverage, and release quality. Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and improve processes.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders to clarify quality expectations, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction with deliverables.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or production management within a web development environment, including leadership roles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.), content management systems (CMS), and web frameworks.
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with QA tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jenkins) is highly preferred.
  • High Level English
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying potential quality issues.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage conflicts, and drive continuous improvements in quality standards.
