Role mission:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant. This individual will work within the finance/corporate services team to process and input invoices/expenses, deal with supplier and customer queries over the phone and via email and assist with various other tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
- To input received purchase invoices onto the system and send to management for approval
- To deal with supplier queries and reconcile accounts to statements
- Monthly input and classification of employee expenses
- Monthly reconciliation and posting of credit card expenses
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Issuing sales invoices to customers
- Renewing supplier contracts and raising purchase orders
- Creating quotes for customers
- Preparation of monthly payroll reports
- Preparing and entering journals into the system
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
- Any other ad-hoc tasks required by finance department
What we’re looking for:
- Atleast 1+ years work experience (in a relevant / suitable field or industry)
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
- Organised and have excellent attention to detail
- Can work on multiple concurrent activities and be able to prioritise these activities appropriately
- Confidentiality awareness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Experience of NetSuite or similar accounting software – full training will be provided
- Previous experience working in accounts/finance department
- Accountancy qualifications/part qualified
