We’re a marketing software company that serves small business owners, primarily financial advisors, and insurance agents. About 40,000 small businesses use our tools to build websites and send out our content. Generally, these businesses don’t have marketing departments but are growth-minded enough to know they need to market themselves.
We help them do just that. We work together to create beautiful website designs, automated marketing tools, and award-winning educational content for them. The end goal is to help them build better relationships with their clients with less hands-on effort.

About the Role
Our ideal candidate is an experienced engineer able to guide how we manage data to build products and systems. The candidate would be collaborating across engineering and cloud infrastructure teams supporting a SaaS digital marketing platform.

Compensation This position offers $130,000 based on skills and qualifications.
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
We seek an engineer who is a:
- Servant leader - You lead by example and are willing to work alongside the platforming teams to effect positive change for our platforms
- Decision maker - You can guide discussions and balance pros/cons without knowing all the details with a bias to action
- Communicator - You are excited to contribute to our culture of iterative development, team collaboration and our fun, positive, professional, remote-first work environment.
- Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions
- Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
- An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years experience developing web-based, cloud-hosted software in a team environment
- 5+ years of T-SQL and SQL Server experience
- Experience managing production data systems
- Strong understanding of cloud environments and site reliability (AWS, DataDog, DPA)
- Strong understanding of Devops principles and systems (CI/CD, Github, Jenkins)
- Experience with multiple coding languages (C#, Python, Powershell)
- Well-rounded knowledge of platform architecture
- Passion for coaching and mentoring
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
