Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to serve as the primary security advisor on client projects, ensuring best practices and established guidelines are followed rigorously. This role requires a proactive, client-focused approach to developing, reviewing, and enhancing cybersecurity documentation and policies in line with industry standards like ISO 27001.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cybersecurity Guidance: Act as the Cybersecurity Referent for client projects, ensuring consistent application of best practices and guidelines across all phases.
  • Documentation Development: Create, review, and update project documentation to maintain alignment with cybersecurity standards.
  • Security Consulting: Advise on information security requirements for purchasing and supplier management, aligning with both internal and client standards.
  • Contract Collaboration: Work closely with the legal team to review contracts, ensuring all information security clauses meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Security by Design: Guide clients in implementing Security by Design principles, embedding security from project inception through execution.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in the ongoing refinement of security processes, updating policies and documentation to adapt to changing cybersecurity needs.
  • KPI Management: Develop and monitor KPIs for project support activities, providing insights to enhance security performance.
  • Risk Analysis: Conduct security risk assessments, challenge existing methodologies, and recommend improvements to meet ISO 27001 and other relevant frameworks.


Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven track record in cybersecurity consulting or related roles, ideally within a client-focused environment.
  • Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO 27001 and familiarity with other relevant security frameworks.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess security risks, analyze performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to convey complex security concepts effectively to clients.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including legal and procurement, to ensure comprehensive security compliance.
