What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company's long-term vision and goals.

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic business opportunities, including partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and new market entries, to drive growth and profitability.

  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders, enhancing the company's market position and brand reputation.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful strategy execution, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor movements, adapting strategies as necessary to maintain competitive advantage.

  • Oversee the business development team, setting clear objectives, mentoring leaders, and ensuring the team's alignment with strategic goals.

  • Manage the negotiation and closure of significant business deals, ensuring they meet the company's strategic and financial objectives.

  • Report on business development activities and performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record in strategic planning, partnership development, and team leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically, with a strong proficiency in market research, data analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high performance.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with a history of successful deal-making.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to a variety of audiences.

The hiring salary range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. We also offer an incentive pay program and a discretionary annual performance bonus. 

Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits, incentive pay, and equity upon request. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for > Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
