Functional Description:

  • Develops, directs, plans and analyzes financial standing, projects and procedures. Responsible for proper documentation of financial standing for audit and regulatory purposes.
  • Discipline Description:
  • Develops, directs, plans and evaluates accounting policies and procedures including cost accounting, general accounting, and statutory accounting .
  • Manages the planning and direction of accounting activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts, CAPEX, SRR and other financial activities.
  • Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions, including coordination with other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Supervisor FPA & Controller with reportorial and analysis work on FP&A.
  • Performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards related to general accounting, general ledger, projects to ensure accuracy of the accounting entries.
  • Compiles and maintains accounting statements, reports, general ledger accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets
  • Monitors account entries and control activities to ensure accuracy of information.
  • Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations based on financial data.
  • Assists on projects, and internal and external audits to ensure quality of project and timely completion.
  • Compares budget to actual costs and provides advice to ensure budgets are adhered to.
  • Prepares basic financial analysis in order to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Follows accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is as per standard defined.
  • Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of 4-year business course preferably BS  Accountancy, Management Accounting.
  • With at least 1 or more years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis  or General Accounting.
  • Works in a company with manufacturing set-up.
