Nextiva is seeking a strategic and innovative Website Strategist & Web Development Leader to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Marketing, you will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive website strategy to drive acquisition, engagement, and revenue. You will lead the development, optimization, and growth of Nextiva's WordPress-based websites, focusing on delivering a seamless, high-conversion digital experience that supports our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Strategy & Ownership:

- Develop and own the strategic roadmap for Nextiva's WordPress-based websites, ensuring they are aligned with business goals, brand standards, and revenue targets. 

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress sites, focusing on user-centric design, performance optimization, and features that drive revenue growth. 

- Lead initiatives to innovate and enhance the web experience, leveraging data insights and best practices to support customer acquisition and retention.

Acquisition & Revenue Focus:

- Create and implement strategies to convert website traffic into leads and sales, optimizing for revenue-generating features such as lead forms, CTAs, landing pages, and personalized user journeys. 

- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to align website initiatives with broader revenue goals, ensuring the website plays a critical role in the sales funnel.

Vendor & Partner Management:

- Select, manage, and collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and service providers for web development, redesign projects, and platform re-platforming. 

- Oversee and coordinate redesign projects, ensuring seamless integration with WordPress platforms and maintaining project timelines and budget.

User Experience (UX) & Design:

- Lead efforts to improve the website’s UX, focusing on navigation, design, and content structure to enhance user engagement and satisfaction. 

- Ensure a cohesive and visually appealing brand presence across all website touchpoints, optimizing for mobile and desktop experiences.

Content Management & Optimization:

- Oversee content creation, maintenance, and updates to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with SEO best practices. 

- Work closely with content creators, designers, and developers to produce high-quality web experiences that engage and convert users.

Analytics & Performance Measurement:

- Utilize web analytics tools to monitor website performance, user behavior, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform continuous improvement. 

- Report on website performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize user engagement, lead generation, and revenue.

SEO & Organic Traffic Growth:

- Develop and implement strategies to drive organic traffic growth through SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization. 

- Collaborate with the SEO team to improve search visibility and drive relevant traffic to key pages.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead a team of developers, fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment that prioritizes continuous improvement and strategic alignment with marketing and sales. 

- Champion a culture of testing, quality assurance, and optimization, instilling a belief that there is always room for improvement.

Innovation & Personalization:

- Experiment with and implement new tools, tactics, and best practices to deliver personalized website experiences tailored to specific user segments, industries, and customer journeys. 

- Explore and test innovative approaches to enhance user engagement, lead generation, and revenue conversion on the website.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in website strategy, development, and management, with hands-on experience in WordPress. 

- Proven track record of developing and executing strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, and revenue through a digital platform. 

- Experience in a B2B SaaS or technology company, particularly within a marketing or digital marketing team. 

- Expertise in content management systems (CMS), website analytics tools, and conversion optimization. 

- In-depth knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and customizations, as well as familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML. 

- Strong understanding of SEO, user experience (UX) design, and digital marketing concepts. 

- Experience managing and coordinating projects with external vendors, agencies, and teams. 

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. 

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders. 

- Knowledge of website security, data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Compensation, Rewards & Benefits:

The salary or hourly wage offered by Nextiva to external candidates considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, etc. Our compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Our estimate of the expected hiring range for the position as posted is $101,000– $157,080. A different level in the job hierarchy may apply to a specific candidate resulting in a different hiring range.
