Job description

Digital Media Strategist (Halifax, NS) Remote/Hybrid

Our client is a dynamic media agency with an innovative team and values-based leadership.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Digital Media Strategist with experience in social and search engine media strategies. The role will be a full cycle position with responsibilities in strategizing, planning, budgeting, executing and measuring diverse, successful digital marketing programs across a variety of platforms. This full-time, permanent position has excellent opportunity for growth, development and an opportunity to show off your talents working both independently and collaboratively.

The ideal candidate might possess:

  • 2+ years advertising/media/digital marketing experience with specific experience in paid media strategies and executing media plans
  • a related degree in Media, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Information Technology
  • experience with B2C or B2B tools for ads on Meta, TikTok, Twitter(X), LinkedIn and other social media as well as Google Ads SEM
  • a data-driven mindset and comfort working with and deriving insights from analytical tools (Sheets, Excel, Google Data Studio, Tableau or similar)
  • demonstrable knowledge of how to create/customize marketing dashboards
  • programmatic media buying experience would be an asset
  • email marketing experience would be an asset
  • leading product enhancements based on customer feedback and findings
