Role Name: Team Leader/Supervisor - Auto Parts E-commerce Listings

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Somewhat flexible as long as it is between Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm Florida Time (8 paid hours per day)

Job Description

As the Team Leader/Supervisor for our E-commerce Listings division, you’ll be at the helm of our digital inventory management strategy. This pivotal role combines leadership, e-commerce expertise, and automotive knowledge to drive our online sales to new heights. You’ll oversee a team of listing specialists, developing and implementing strategies to optimize our product listings, improve team efficiency, and enhance our digital presence. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of online auto parts sales, leveraging cutting-edge e-commerce techniques in a rapidly growing market. Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling our operations and cementing our position as a leader in the online auto parts industry.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10 e-commerce listing assistants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Develop comprehensive training programs and materials to onboard new team members and enhance existing staff skills
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure all product listings meet high standards of accuracy and appeal
  • Manage workflow distribution, prioritizing tasks to maximize team productivity and meet business objectives
  • Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching
  • Collaborate with in-house teams to align listing strategies with overall business goals and marketing initiatives
  • Continuously analyze and optimize listing processes to improve efficiency and drive sales growth
  • Stay abreast of e-commerce trends, particularly in the automotive sector, to implement best practices in product listings
  • Act as a liaison between the remote listing team and company leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives


Requirements
  • Proven experience in team leadership or supervision, 
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, with particular expertise in eBay’s listing and selling processes
  • Basic grasp of SEO principles and best practices for optimizing product listings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a remote team
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective training programs and performance improvement plans
  • Basic understanding of automotive parts and systems would be useful or at least a passion for cars, with a willingness to expand this knowledge rapidly
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in using and teaching others to use various software tools and e-commerce platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-commerce, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
  • Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to coordinate with in-house team members in the Central Time zone
