Job Description

As a Virtual Assistant in this fast-paced environment, you’ll play a crucial role in driving the business forward. Your primary focus will be conducting in-depth research to identify speaking opportunities and potential business acquisition targets. You’ll be instrumental in expanding our client’s reach in the UK and international markets, helping to establish them as a thought leader in business growth. This position offers a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution, providing invaluable exposure to high-level business operations and growth strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive online research to uncover speaking opportunities at various events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences, both in the UK and internationally
  • Identify and compile detailed information on potential business acquisition targets, with a focus on privately-owned manufacturing companies
  • Initiate contact with event organizers and submit compelling applications for speaking engagements
  • Gather and organize critical information on acquisition prospects using online resources and government databases
  • Craft and dispatch initial contact letters to business owners regarding potential acquisitions
  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for confirmed speaking engagements (future scope)
  • Manage and respond to inquiries resulting from speaking engagements and outreach efforts (future scope)

Requirements
  • Exceptional online research skills with the ability to find and synthesize information efficiently
  • Strong written communication skills for crafting persuasive outreach messages and applications
  • Basic understanding of business structures and terminology, with a keen interest in learning more
  • Familiarity with UK government websites and business databases
