We are the information security team at Yahoo, known as "The Paranoids".
As an analyst on the Platform Integrity Operations team within the Paranoids, you will be charged with detecting, neutralizing and preventing abuse – at scale – directly targeting Yahoo users and using Yahoo products. You will play a key role in defending millions of Yahoo users and ensuring we are doing everything in our power to keep them safe.

In a typical day, you may find yourself:
Identifying and neutralizing – at scale – malicious activity targeting Yahoo users or using Yahoo products.
Analyzing and actioning intel from strategic internal partners and external parties.
Evolving threat detections to prevent attacks against Yahoo users and products.
Providing investigative support, including data mining and analytics, to various internal investigative and product teams.
Feeding insights to engineering and product teams to help improve the overall Yahoo user security experience.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience analyzing the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) of web-based fraud, including spam, email scams, phishing, malware and account takeover (ATO).
Experience with big data technologies such as Splunk, MySQL or Hadoop.
Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
Strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable performing in a remote-first environment
