The Role
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Developer with a strong background in Android development and C++ programming to join our growing Player team. In this role, you’ll work on the core Android system to optimize performance and ensure stability, delivering the best possible experience for users displaying content on screens with the latest hardware and software technologies.
You’ll collaborate closely with the latest Chromium library, ensuring our technology is always up to date. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile technologies and has a deep understanding of the Android platform. While Objective-C and Swift knowledge is a plus, it’s not mandatory.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and C/C++Lead the technical design and implementation of new features, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needsMaintain and implement tests using the Android test suite and create unit, integration, and UI tests for robust coverageBuild, customize, and optimize Chromium for mobile platforms, staying up to date with the latest releasesMaintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Nexus Repository, SonarQube, and Android EmulatorLead code reviews, mentor developers, and take ownership of troubleshooting and investigating reported issuesOptimize application performance, scalability, and resource efficiency across different devices and OS versionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Manager, QA) to ensure timely delivery of product requirementsStay updated with Android development trends and advocate for best practices and new technologies within the teamRequirementsDemonstrated experience of Android development experience with Java and KotlinStrong proficiency in C/C++ programming and JNI implementationStrong proficiency in web application technologyExperience working with Webview , HTML & JavascriptExperience working with Chromium for any platformsExpertise in Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle build systemsStrong knowledge of Android UI design principles, including Material Design guidelinesExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Nexus RepositoryProficient in version control (Git) and debugging tools like ADBProven leadership experience in managing and delivering technical projectsStrong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for collaborating in a cross-functional team environmentBonus SkillsExperience with Chromium build processes specifically for AndroidFamiliarity with Ubuntu/Linux environments for development and automationIn-depth knowledge of the Chromium build system for Android, including compiling and optimizing for performanceCross-platform development experience (Android, iOS, or other mobile platforms)Knowledge of graphics programming using OpenGL or similar frameworksExperience with iOS development (Objective-C, Swift)Expertise in performance profiling and optimization for mobile applicationsInterview Process and Experience
