RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for an Environmental Safety Monitoring Specialist to join our superior workforce. The Environmental Safety Monitoring Specialist will support the Department of Energy's Loan Program Office's projects. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and communicate expectations to applicant and borrower regarding environmental compliance as well as health and safety plans
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of LPO portfolio project monitoring status in reporting and tracking systems implemented by agency
  • Plan, prioritize, and balance monitoring assignments, travel, and reporting to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks, and make adjustments as needed to adapt to changing situations
  • Ensure the accuracy, scope, and content of environmental reports relative to project lifecycle (construction, operations, and decommissioning), and develops necessary environmental reports (supplemental NEPA, memos to the file, agency consultations, etc.)
Requirements
  • Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
  • 2+ years of related experience 
  • Experience in Clean Energy and National Environmental Policy desired  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of fundamental business writing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)


EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
