This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week, 9 AM to 1 PM Washington DC Time, Monday to Friday

Job Description

As an Admin Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of bringing luxurious design concepts to life. You’ll manage a cloud-based project management system, create captivating client presentations, and handle crucial administrative tasks. This role offers a unique blend of creativity and organization, allowing you to gain invaluable insights into the world of high-end interior design while honing your professional skills. You’ll work directly with the business owner, contributing to the success of stunning residential projects and helping to elevate the firm’s operational efficiency.


Responsibilities
  • Input and manage detailed project data in a cloud-based system
  • Generate comprehensive reports for business analysis and client presentations
  • Create visually appealing presentations using Canva
  • Maintain and update project-specific spreadsheets
  • Coordinate schedules, track orders, and handle general admin duties
  • Assist in developing an employee handbook
  • Maintain professional communication standards with clients and vendors


Requirements
  • 2-3 years of professional office experience
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup and have a portfolio to show work in those programs
  • Must have experience in architecture, interior design, furniture specifications/sales, or construction project management
  • Proficiency in cloud-based project management tools, Canva, Google Sheets, and Excel
  • Sharp attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Self-motivated with strong task management abilities
  • Professional business etiquette and email communication skills
  • Interest in or knowledge of interior design terminology (preferred)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Reliable internet connection for consistent remote work
