Senior Security Engineer (Offensive Security) - Workvivo
What you can expect
In this role, you’ll focus on uncovering and addressing vulnerabilities across the Workvivo platform, including our Web App, Mobile App, and AWS Infrastructure. You'll test security controls in both new and existing features, working to bypass the Organization Sandbox. Your goal is to identify potential security threats and understand the impact of malicious actions on the platform.
As a Security Engineer, you’ll identify vulnerabilities in the Workvivo platform and AWS infrastructure. You’ll work closely with internal teams at both Workvivo and Zoom, collaborating daily with Security, AWS Infrastructure, and Application Engineering teams. This ensures the platform’s security, scalability, and stability. You’ll prioritize threat modeling for new security features, working with application engineers early in the design phase. You’ll also enhance the SDLC by advising on secure practices like DAST, SAST, SCA, and other pipeline security solutions.

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the security of both Workvivo and Zoom. This includes contributing to our engineering security training program and collaborating cross-functionally within Zoom Security, including teams like Bug Bounty, Incident Response, SOC, Vulnerability Management, and Customer Security Assurance (CSA).
What we’re looking for
- Have very strong experience completing penetration test (focused on Web Applications, API and Mobile)
- Able to critically analyse Vulnerability & Penetration test reports from external partners and customers
- Can go beyond highlighting Security Headers and low hanging fruit as a vulnerability and critically challenge security vulnerabilities
- Have good knowledge of AWS
- Comfort with using Burpsuite / Invicti (Netsparker) and similar tooling
- Have experience (and are comfortable) with programming language specifically PHP (with Laravel Framework) and/or Go/Golang
- Have excellent attention to detail, a sense of curiosity and ability to focus, and are comfortable discussing the latest security technology
