Key Responsibilities:

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. You will perform various related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management. Additionally, you will install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for the modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. You are expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform, and be responsible for team decisions. You will also engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions, as well as provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize database performance

  • Design and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement

  • Provide guidance and support to junior database administrators

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years with Database Administration

  • Must be US citizen and in contiguous US due to NIST compliance

  • HS Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tech certification

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree

  • Microsoft SQL Server, Database Activity Monitoring, Database Management, and Database Performance Management with intermediate proficiency are recommended

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
