Job description

Title: PPC Executive – Remote or Hybrid in the UK (monthly travel to central London office)

Salary: 35k-45k plus bonus and benefits

We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented PPC Executive to own and scale our paid search efforts across US, UK, Canada (CA) and Germany (DE). If you're passionate about paid search and want to help drive growth for a global pet health brand, this role is for you.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns, optimising for performance, and identifying opportunities to drive efficiency while reducing customer acquisition costs. You’ll be expected to work cross-functionally with creative, content, and video teams to ensure campaign success.

Who Will You Report Into?

The Paid Search & Youtube Lead at PetLab Co. We’ve built our brand on data-driven decision-making, and paid search is a critical lever for our continued success. You will help us manage and grow our international PPC accounts while supporting the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • US Account Support: Assist in managing U.S. campaigns, including bid management, keyword mining, ad copy testing, and performance optimizations.
  • Account Management (UK, CA & DE): Own the end-to-end management of PPC campaigns in UK, Canada, and Germany, from day-to-day tasks to long-term growth strategies.
  • Ad Copy Framework: Help create, manage, and execute a testing framework for ad copy across all campaigns, ensuring ongoing optimization.
  • Landing Page Improvements: Collaborate with the Content and Design teams to identify landing page improvements, briefing presell pages and A/B testing.
  • Quality Score Enhancements: Drive efforts to improve Quality Scores, focusing on reducing CAC (Customer Acquisition Costs) while maintaining scale.
  • Ad Copy Compliance: Ensure PPC ad copy is always compliant with the latest advertising guidelines and best practices.
  • YouTube Growth: Partner with the Video team to develop and implement a framework for YouTube ad growth, including creating purpose-built Shorts and long-form video content.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing and scaling paid search campaigns in multiple markets. You understand the intricacies of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and YouTube campaigns, and have a solid grasp of bid management, ad copy testing, and landing page optimization. You’re a creative problem-solver who is always looking for ways to optimise campaigns while maintaining compliance and lowering customer acquisition costs.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience managing PPC campaigns, ideally within the DTC space.
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, YouTube, and Bing Ads platforms.
  • Experience with ad copy testing, negative keyword mining, and bid strategies.
  • Ability to identify and execute landing page optimizations.
  • A passion for data-driven decision-making and experience working with performance metrics.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with international PPC markets (US, UK, CA, DE) is a plus.
