What we are looking for 

Logis Tech. is seeking to hire an Account Executive who will be responsible for driving significant sales growth within the Air Force and Navy markets for our dehumidification equipment. This role requires a strategic approach to identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within these organizations. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the unique requirements and challenges within the military environment, leveraging their expertise to position our products as the optimal solution for meeting their specific needs.

 
Interview Process

If an offer is extended, the start date is determined by availability and the amount of time it takes for the government background clearance process (depending on the client). 

Account Executive -Essential Job Duties  

Duties include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identify and Develop Target Accounts: Conduct thorough market research to identify key Air Force, Air National Guard, and Navy bases, departments, and decision-makers, as well as other opportunities as warranted. Develop strategic account plans to penetrate these target accounts effectively.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and foster strong relationships with military personnel at all levels, including procurement officers, engineers, and maintenance staff. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.
  • Conduct Product Presentations: Deliver compelling product presentations to military personnel and procurement authorities, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our dehumidification equipment. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and challenges of the Air Force, Air National Guard, Navy, and other targets of opportunity.
  • Manage Sales Cycle: Effectively manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., field service techs, Service Manager, Comptroller, VP – Tech, VP – DOD Relations, and Executive Vice President) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide Market Intelligence: Gather competitive intelligence and market trends to inform sales strategies and product development efforts. Share insights with the Vice President of DOD Relations to support strategic planning.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets for the Air Force and Navy markets. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Maintain strong post-sales relationships with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty. Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Other duties as assigned
 
LOGIS-TECH JOB DUTIES
  • Compliance with all Logis-Tech processes, standards, and guidelines including utilizing the employee and intranet platforms, clocking in and/or entering time daily, submitting expense reports, providing monthly progress reports, etc.
  • Participate in recurring performance development meetings with Logis-Tech’s senior leadership team to discuss current job tasks, promote open dialog/feedback, recognize and celebrate wins, and review positive and purposeful approaches for meeting work-related and professional development goals.
  • Attend meetings and other company-sponsored team-building events to foster and support Logis-Tech’s core values, vision, and culture. 
  • Remote position with travel to the northern Virginia (Manassas) area 4-6 times a year
 Qualifications/Capabilities/Software Knowledge

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • US Citizen
  • Security Clearance Preferred 
  • A minimum 4-year college degree preferably in Marketing or Business Administration, may be replaced with combined experience in military service and sales.
  • Strong mental resilience and a positive attitude. 
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Deep understanding of the Air Force, National Guard, and Navy procurement processes, regulations, and requirements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of dehumidification equipment and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with military personnel at all levels.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate product value propositions and address customer needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently to visit military bases and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with government contracting officers and understanding federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
  • Familiarity with relevant military standards and specifications (e.g., Air Force Instruction AFI 32-1054, Preservation of Naval Aircraft).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Senior Maintenance tech NCO either Air, Air Guard, or Navy 
General Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • This position requires a significant degree of responsibility, knowledge, and authority including on-time completion of projects, work autonomy, multiple priorities, and irregular hours.
  • Moderate air and car travel is required.
  • Moderate lifting is required.

Environment and Physical Conditions 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, move inside and around an office, position themself to access items located in high or low areas, and transport items weighing up to 20 pounds across the office. Requires the constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery and the ability to observe details at a close range typically within a few feet of the observer.  The employee interacts frequently with other workers, vendors, and clients and will communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The position consistently requires work to be completed in an office environment with artificial light and air.
