NTT DATA currently seeks a Health Information Consultant to join our team in Merced, CA.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide overall support and manage the health information organization/vendor
- Provide expertise in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Overall account management
- Efficient record-keeping and filing 
- Ability to manage large volumes of patient data 
- Managing data quality control and auditing procedures 
- Maintain effective communication with clinicians, administrative staff, and patients
- Collaborate with the team on data management initiatives

Required Skills/Experience:
- 5 or more years of Health Information Exchange (HIE) knowledge and experience
- 3 years’ experience with data exchange protocols I.e (FHIR, HL7)
- 3 years’ experience with data security protocols
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

Preferences:
- Proficiency in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT)
- Data entry and manipulation skills
- Knowledge of data analytics tools
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and privacy practices
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($65 - $75 /hourly ). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
