Position Overview:
We are growing very fast and have recently refreshed our strategy. We are seeking a talented and motivated Report Developer to become the second member of a team responsible for developing criritcal report templates for our supported ERPs and wide range of industries.
As a Report Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining financial reports, operational reports and other budgeting templates for our ERP software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a background in ERP or Accounting software, Excel, and a proven ability to design, document and deliver accurate and insightful reports. This position reports directly to the Chief Product Officer and offers the flexibility of working remotely from your home office.

Location:
We are looking to grow a team in the Philippines, and are therefore exclusively recruiting in this region.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development team and product management to understand software features, report requirements and design specifications.
  • Utilize your knowledge of ERP software systems to tailor reports to users of the ERP (our customers), and appropriately validate the results.
  • Develop, customize, document and maintain financial, operational or industry-specific reports using Velixo.
  • Develop, document and maintain budgeting and automation templates using Velixo
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data accuracy.
  • Contribute and work alongside the Documentation, Training teams as well as QA team to conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing reports or create new reports.
  • Provide support to partners and end-users, participate on our community forums, and address any inquiries or concerns related to reports.
Requirements:

  • Creativity, attention to detail, curiosity and problem-solving abilities are a must! We will test this.
  • Strong experience in report development for ERP software. Proficiency with reporting tools, Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills are mandatory. Ideally, you're a data and Excel expert!
  • Intermediate-level knowledge (4+ years of experience) of ERP software systems or accounting software is mandatory. Sage Intacct, Acumatica, MYOB Acumatica (formerly MYOB Advanced) Dynamics Business Central are preferred.
  • Understanding of financial and operational processes and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work setting.
  • Good project management skills and an understanding of agile methodology.
  • A university degree is a plus, but we’re open to self-taught and brilliant minds with experience too!
Expected Outcomes:
  • You would be up-to-speed with the technology, the plan and be an integral part of the team in the first month.
  • Turn reports into revenue-generating products in one year, to lift revenue by 10%.
  • Ensure that reports are well documented do not generate more than 10% extra support requests. Maintain a growing list of report templates and ensure they remain perfectly bug-free.
