About the Role

Are you passionate about React.js, open-source contributions, and the evolution of front-end development? Anima is looking for a skilled React developer to join our team as a Frontend Developer Advocate. In this role, you’ll engage with developer communities, educate and inspire developers globally, and be a critical bridge between Anima’s product offerings and the developer community. 

This role will report directly to Anima’s Marketing Director and will work closely with marketing and development teams to ensure alignment with Anima’s mission and messaging.

What You’ll Do

• Community Engagement & Education: Serve as a visible, trusted presence in the developer community, building connections and advocating for Anima’s offerings.
• Content Creation: Write and produce compelling videos, articles, tutorials, and code samples to clearly communicate Anima’s benefits to developers and digital product teams.
• Open-Source Development: Contribute to and lead open-source projects, fostering collaboration and innovation within the community.
• Technical Promotion: Showcase Anima’s capabilities and integrations across a range of technologies and development stacks, staying current with software development trends.
• Internal Advocacy: Act as the voice of the developer community within Anima’s marketing team, offering insights to help shape product direction and messaging.

Skills You’ll Need

• Proficiency with Figma: Familiarity with Figma is essential, as you’ll work with design-related tools and concepts.
• Technical Expertise in React.js: Advanced proficiency in React.js, with experience developing and communicating technical concepts effectively.
• Presentation & Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, creating engaging presentations and content.
  Content Creation Experience: Experience creating videos, articles, tutorials, and other educational resources, especially with a focus on developer audiences.
  Community & Open-Source Involvement: Proven engagement in open-source projects and developer communities, with a strong passion for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to work on an hourly basis, with a flexible schedule (1-2 days per week as needed).
