Job description

Operational

  • Take ownership of data remediation, migrations to, and efficient output automation, of Yardi and other related global platforms
  • Working closely with the clients to understand complex structures, collaboratively supporting our clients and client facing teams from a system structuring and setup perspective
  • You will be involved in the onboarding of new clients, take ownership of building reporting outputs and parameterization of various applications
  • Identifying, analysing and specifying all kinds of upcoming platform changes and options
  • You will be involved in the preparation, execution and testing of system releases
  • Client focused with an ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured work environment
  • Act as a point of reference for the Institutional business to answer and resolve issues/queries related to the use of the Yardi and other platforms under your remit
  • Keeping abreast of system releases affecting the future efficiencies and functions of the platform to ensure that best practice and working methodology are implemented into standards and procedures
  • You will be involved in data integrity monitoring to ensure all client and investor static data is captured, recorded and accurate in all core platforms used by the business
  • Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required by your line manager and the Client Operations team
  • Contribute to on-going discussions on operational process and best practices; document and implement process improvements.

Business Management

  • Prioritising own and others (where appropriate) workloads and projects ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Establish plan for new client setup and transitions
  • Dealing with matters and queries in a timely manner
  • Responsible for participating in appropriate projects and initiatives
  • Attend and constructively contribute to Client Operations meetings and other internal committees/meetings as required from time to time
  • Take responsibility for providing system usage MI to key stakeholders within the business
  • Develop client relationships, playing a key role in business development through system demonstrations and discussions

People Management

  • Establishes high standards for the quality of outputs from each team member/contractor
  • Assist in meeting team objectives and meet set internal and external SLA’s
  • Development/enhancement of team specific procedures
  • Conduct training for Client Facing teams

Development of others

  • Develop and present internal short courses and training sessions relating to system usage and setup
  • Sharing knowledge pro-actively and freely

 

The ideal background for this role:

  • 1-2 years’ relevant Yardi or similar system /finance industry experience
  • Experience in working in a project-based team
  • Demonstrated skills for Yardi system configuration, implementation, migration, and ongoing development (or for similar system)
  • Hands on experience with bespoke report writing and output automation
  • Understanding of GDPR and risks associated with personal/sensitive data

Role Location/Hybrid Schedule

This role can be based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
