Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Title Examiner to provide nationwide title services. This role supports real estate transactions by searching public records and examining titles to determine the legal condition of property titles as part of our production center, branch office, or title team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile, investigate, and examine public and tax records to assess liabilities and the legal condition of titles, as well as the insurability of properties.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining guidelines and policy procedures.
  • Perform a variety of support functions to assist with departmental processes.
  • Follow clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Utilize existing procedures to address straightforward problems without the constant need for discretion.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients and team members.
  • Operate as an individual contributor under direct supervision, with limited autonomy.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management.

Education:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Typically requires 0-2 years of relevant work experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with title examination processes.
  • Proficiency in using title search software and public records databases.
