We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering. This role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing AI algorithms and systems to enhance our product offerings and improve customer experience.

You will be responsible for:
  • Design, develop, and implement AI algorithms and models to solve complex problems. 
  • Optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and accuracy. 
  • Train and fine-tune machine learning models on large datasets. 
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and improve models based on feedback and testing. 
  • Integrate AI models and algorithms into existing systems and workflows. 
  • Ensure seamless deployment and operation of AI solutions within the company's infrastructure. 
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the AI development process. 
  • Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions. 
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the company. 
  • Ensure models & data use are inline with Cyara’s privacy & security policies. 
  • While this position does not require participation in an official on-call roster, Engineering employees are expected to be available to assist with troubleshooting Severity 1 or Severity 2 production issues as they arise. If contacted, employees should be prepared to respond and provide support, leveraging their domain knowledge and skills to resolve critical incidents.

  • Let’s talk about your skills/expertise:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in AI, machine learning, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java. 
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn). 
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, pandas, NumPy). 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services. 
  • Experience with deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, GANs) and natural language processing (NLP).
  • In-Office Requirement
    This role requires in-person collaboration at our Skibbereen, Ireland office at least twice per month. We believe that a hybrid approach supports team connection and productivity, combining the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of regular face-to-face interaction.
