Job description

Job Title: Regional Director of Sales - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are looking for a driven and accomplished Regional Director of Sales to contribute to our mission of transforming the hospitality industry. This pivotal role will oversee direct sales initiatives within a designated region, reporting directly to the VP of North American Sales. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates residing in the metropolitan areas of DC, Chicago, Charlotte, Denver, and Austin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the VP of North American Sales to implement the regional sales strategy.
  • Strategically build, prioritize, and manage the sales pipeline in a designated geographical area.
  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities and successfully close deals with both new and existing clients.
  • Consistently achieve monthly sales targets, expand the sales pipeline, and meet performance metrics.
  • Prepare precise sales quotes and negotiate contracts and pricing to secure new business.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of account targets, leads, prospects, and all business development activities in our CRM system.
  • Stay informed about our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Potential local prospecting and travel may be required.

Required Skills

  • A strong commitment to sales with a proven track record of exceptional negotiation skills, high performance, and target attainment.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • A history of exceeding quotas and closing sales successfully.
  • Diligence in follow-up activities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enabling tools.
  • A relentless drive to comprehend customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network effectively both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality software/SaaS sales.
  • Established relationships with key decision-makers in the hospitality sector.
  • Experience in property management software sales is preferred.
