Position Title: Senior Manager, Workplace Hospitality & Concierge - Remote | WFH

Position Overview

We are in search of an innovative and strategic Senior Manager, Workplace Hospitality & Concierge to lead an exceptional hospitality team at a renowned global life sciences organization based in Plainsboro, New Jersey. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the comprehensive hospitality services encompassing employee and guest interactions, concierge amenities, event facilitation, and mailroom management. Managing operations across three strategic locations, you will champion hospitality initiatives, cultivate vital partnerships with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and drive continuous enhancements to service standards. Your influence will be crucial in redefining hospitality service delivery, implementing transformative strategies, and ensuring exemplary financial, operational, and customer service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the performance and growth of a remote team of over 6 employees, guaranteeing consistent delivery of premier hospitality services across three office locations.
  • Lead onsite personnel management, ensuring performance aligns with organizational values and expectations.
  • Oversee staffing schedules, vacation coverage, and recruitment to maintain optimal service levels.
  • Inspire a culture of excellence and innovation within the Workplace Hospitality team, creating an inviting and efficient environment for employees and visitors.
  • Drive engagement, motivation, and morale among team members to exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct routine visits to onsite locations for recruitment, training, and performance assessments.
  • Develop and sustain training materials and facilitate thorough training sessions for staff.
  • Analyze daily operations to ensure accuracy and data integrity within the service request documentation.
  • Assist with operational needs during peak periods or special events to maintain seamless service delivery.
  • Establish effective development plans and provide timely feedback on employee performance.
  • Spearhead the onboarding process and ongoing education of new team members, ensuring high service standards.
  • Uphold adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to foster consistency across all hospitality services.

  • Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time to additional sites, including New Hampshire and Washington, D.C.
