Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and team-oriented person.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

Member of the Portfolio Management capability focused on ongoing operational support of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions, defining data model standards, designing and implementing workflow solutions and integrations to enable Global standards and meet local customer reporting needs. This includes not only technical support, but also monitoring of data quality, triaging user and system issues, and supporting strategic initiatives which enable project delivery and create process efficiencies for the team and our stakeholders.

Propose and deliver reporting and process improvements / solutions that will enhance decision making based on project server data

• Propose and deliver technology enhancements and manage upgrades to improve system stability, optimize performance, enable effective security management, or improve efficiency;
• Enable project reporting service by leading efforts to define reporting and workflow requirements with stakeholders;
• Propose solution design that meets both stakeholder needs as well as quality and performance standards. Develop proposed solution and/or provide technical leadership for others assigned to develop solution;
• Ensure system solutions and configuration are appropriately documented and maintained to reflect current state;
• Partner with Technical Leader to provide oversight of offshore consultant resources to complete ongoing account maintenance and manage reporting data;
• Lead and/or participate in solution and/or system testing as well as efforts to ensure data quality. Assist in executing needed data entry and data validation efforts;
• Provide guidance and training to staff using Project Server;
• Provide assistance during peak volumes to load required data into plans and systems;
• Participate Global PPM requirements and testing and gap analysis to assist in defining blueprint to ensure Global and Local requirements are met (enhance, integrate, migrate).

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience required. Specific requirements: Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain Project Server/PWA (SharePoint) environment (i.e. patch management, Security access management, Data Analysis Views, OLAP cubes, PSIs, and SQL Reporting);
• Ability to lead internal team efforts for critical system updates, enhancements and patches;
• Proven communication skills and customer service support;
• Preferred experience: SQL development and database design, Nintex Workflow and/or Microsoft Power App, SharePoint solution design, PowerBI, ServiceNow Demand & Project Management (PPM), and Excel proficiency.
